Weather Related Emergencies
We all know that Western New York is subject to extreme weather. With this extreme weather also comes weather related emergencies. Power lines are often knocked down, flooding, and snowstorms have caused havoc in our district in the past. During the October 2006 storm Adams ran approximately 150 calls in a few day span. Our fire station has also been turned into a relief center on a few occasions. We have been able to handle these emergencies because of training and being prepared.
